  • URLs you submit for indexing
  • Website properties you register
  • Sitemap data imported from Google Search Console
  • Indexing status and submission history
  • Credit usage and transaction records

2.3 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial information on our servers. Stripe may collect and store payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We retain only transaction identifiers, amounts, and subscription status.

2.4 Automatically Collected Data

When you visit the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Device type
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Referring URL
  • Date and time of access

2.5 Google API Data

When you connect your Google Search Console account, we access data through Google APIs with your explicit authorization via OAuth 2.0. This includes sitemap URLs, property verification status, and URL inspection data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • To submit your URLs to search engines (Google, Bing, Yandex, Seznam) on your behalf
  • To monitor and report on the indexing status of your URLs
  • To process payments and manage your account and credit balance
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, submission confirmations, billing receipts)
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To respond to your support requests and communications

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service. Each service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data:

Clerk (Authentication)

Stripe (Payments)

PostHog (Analytics)

Sentry (Error Monitoring)

Google APIs (Indexing and Search Console)

Used to submit URLs to Google for indexing and to retrieve sitemap and URL inspection data from your Google Search Console account. Access is granted via OAuth 2.0 and can be revoked at any time through your Google account settings. Google Privacy Policy

Railway (Hosting)

Hosts our application and database infrastructure. Railway may process server logs containing IP addresses and request metadata. Railway Privacy Policy

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and security. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics Cookies: Used by PostHog to collect anonymized usage data and understand how users interact with the Service. You may opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using a Do Not Track signal.
  • Preference Cookies: Store your preferences such as theme selection (light/dark mode) to enhance your experience.

  • Payment Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
  • Server Logs: Automatically purged after 90 days.
  • Analytics Data: Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for statistical purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We provide a GDPR-compliant data export feature accessible from your account settings.
  • Right to Rectification: You may update or correct your account information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@searchanalysis.io. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Data Portability: You may export your data in a machine-readable format using the data export feature in your account settings.
  • Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data for analytics purposes by opting out of tracking.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that we limit the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Our third-party service providers (Clerk, Stripe, PostHog, Sentry, Resend, Railway) may process data in various locations. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@searchanalysis.io. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
